Elementary Grade 1 teacher responsible for designing and delivering instruction aligned with state standards and district curriculum; creates a positive classroom climate with respect and rapport; delivers relevant and rigorous lessons to maximize student engagement and achievement; utilizes diverse teaching practices reflecting diverse backgrounds; observes and evaluates student progress, maintains grades and attendance; manages behavior with effective strategies; communicates with parents and school personnel; maintains health and safety precautions and confidential records; ensures ongoing professional development and licensure requirements; performs other duties as assigned.
