Job Summary
Gradall Operator needed in the Central Maryland Baltimore/Washington area. Operate Gradall excavation equipment, manipulating hand/foot controls to regulate speed and direction, and move and grade aggregate material on various terrains. Maintain equipment, follow safety policies, perform regular checks, and ensure proper operation. Read blueprints and understand orders; adhere to DOT and company policies. Requires 2 years of Gradall experience, CDL Class B license, and ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen. Full-time, non-exempt with potential overtime; education preferred is high school or equivalent. Work environment includes exposure to outside weather, noise, grease, and dust; PPE required.
Required Qualifications
- Must have 2 years’ experience with Gradall working in a road construction.
- Must have a CDL Class B license
- Must have a good driving record
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical
- Working knowledge of excavation, grades, and granular related materials
- Ability to understand verbal & written orders
- Ability to read blueprints
- Fine Grade experience preferred
- Knowledge of proper operation of heavy equipment as well as safety standards
- Must comply with municipality requirements, specifications, safety standards, and company policies
- Keen attention to detail and awareness to maintain the safety of the work environment
- Ability to work well with others
- Reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
