Job Summary
Graduate Pharmacy Intern role within CVS Health retail pharmacies. You will apply didactic learning from pharmacy school to real-world practice, complete a comprehensive 120-day training roadmap, assist the pharmacy team to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, and support patient experiences through empathetic, compliant service. Responsibilities include following SOPs, contributing to patient safety and quality assurance, assisting with immunizations where permitted, taking telephonic prescriptions when allowed, supporting inventory and cycle counts, and collaborating with pharmacists and technicians to deliver timely care. Preferred candidates hold a PharmD and are actively pursuing or have obtained required licensure, with flexibility to travel within the market as needed.
Required Qualifications
- PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
- Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
