Job Summary
Graduate Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health supports the pharmacy team across store operations, assisting with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, immunizations, and customer service. You will follow SOPs, apply didactic knowledge from pharmacy school to real-world practice, participate in a comprehensive 120-day training roadmap, and work under a licensed pharmacist to develop clinical and technical competencies. As readiness increases, you will assist with management/support of pharmacy operations, contribute to patient safety, drug utilization review, and quality assurance, and may travel to other stores to meet business needs, while learning to counsel patients and engage in telephonic and in-person interactions with empathy and professional standards.
Required Qualifications
- PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
- Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
