Job Summary
Graduate Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health supporting pharmacy teams in retail locations; participates in a 120-day training roadmap to develop knowledge of store, district, and regional operations, patient safety, DUR, SOPs, immunizations, and pharmacy workflow; assists with prescription fulfillment, customer service, immunizations, and clinical/technical skills development under supervision; requires PharmD degree and licensure timeline compliance; part-time role with flexible scheduling including nights and weekends; travel across market stores may be required; compensation ranges from $21-$42 per hour with benefits for part-time roles.
Required Qualifications
- PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
- Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Essential Functions: Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
- Preferred Qualifications: 1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
- Ability to become immunization certified: Once state regulations are met, pharmacy interns should be striving to provide patient immunizations
- Ability to work in home store, and across the market in other locations, to meet business needs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $21.00 - $42.00
