Job Summary
Graduate Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health supporting pharmacy teams within Retail locations. Learn to apply didactic learning to real-world practice, follow SOPs, assist with safe and efficient prescription fulfillment, participate in immunization services where permitted, and engage in a comprehensive 120-day training roadmap designed to deepen knowledge of store, district, and regional operations while developing patient-safety-focused skills and empathetic, quality care. Responsibilities include contributing to patient experiences at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone; handling immunizations (as allowed by state regulations); taking telephonic prescriptions when allowed; assisting with inventory and workflow procedures; and collaborating with pharmacists and technicians to deliver accurate, timely care. Preferred qualifications include prior pharmacy/retail experience and immunization certification readiness; ability to work across stores in the market and proficiency with Microsoft Suite. Pay range is $23.10-$28.10 per hour for part-time engagement, with benefits eligibility based on hours.
Required Qualifications
- PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
- Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
