Job Summary
Graduate Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health within Retail locations, completing a 120-day training roadmap to prepare for a Pharmacist role. You will apply didactic learning to real-world practice, assist with pharmacy workflow, ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, provide empathetic patient service, participate in immunizations and additional health services where allowed, and travel to stores in the market as needed to support business needs. You will learn to operate under SOPs, engage in drug utilization reviews and quality assurance activities, and develop leadership and mentoring capabilities as you take on increasing responsibility within the pharmacy team.
Required Qualifications
- PharmD degree from a U.S. accredited program or in-progress program prior to Post-Graduate Training
- Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe per state guidelines
- Intern and/or technician licensure as required by state regulations
- Regular and predictable attendance including nights and weekends
