Job Summary
Graduate Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health supporting pharmacy teams in Retail locations. You will apply didactic learning from pharmacy school into real-world practice, complete a comprehensive 120-day training roadmap, and deepen understanding of patient safety, drug utilization review, and pharmacy standards. You will assist with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment across production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off, provide compassionate patient service, offer immunizations when qualified, counsel patients under supervision, handle telephonic prescriptions, contribute to inventory activities, and support coaching and mentoring within the pharmacy team while traveling to stores in the market as needed.
Required Qualifications
- PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
- Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
