Job Summary
Graduate Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health will apply didactic learning from pharmacy school to real-world practice within a comprehensive training roadmap lasting 120 days. You will support pharmacy teams across production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and high-quality patient service, while learning about patient safety, DUR, corresponding responsibility, red flag detection, and SOPs. You will counsel and interact with patients, assist with immunizations where permitted, and contribute to a safe, inclusive culture. With increasing tenure, you may take on greater accountability for pharmacy management, oversight, and operations, including training and mentoring teammates. The role emphasizes empathy, effective communication, teamwork, and continuous clinical and technical growth, with opportunities to travel to stores in the market to support business needs. Required qualifications include a PharmD graduate, ability to obtain state licensure within the required timeframe, and active intern/technician licensure as needed. Preferred qualifications include 1+ years of related experience and immunization certification readiness. Pay ranges from $19.75 to $42.00 per hour, with benefits for part-time roles where eligible.
Required Qualifications
- PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
- Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines
- Failure to obtain required Pharmacist licensure within 120 days of graduation will result in separation of employment
