Job Summary
Graduate Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health will apply didactic learning from pharmacy school to real-world practice within a comprehensive 120-day training roadmap. You will support pharmacy teams across all workstations to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and high-quality patient care, learn to operate under SOPs, assist with immunizations where allowed by state law, counsel patients, and collaborate with pharmacists and technicians. The role emphasizes patient safety, error prevention, and continuous professional development, including opportunities to travel to stores in the market and to expand clinical and technical knowledge. As readiness increases, you will contribute to management, oversight, and operations within the pharmacy, maintain regulatory compliance, and participate in immunization activities where permissible, all while developing toward greater responsibility alongside a licensed pharmacist.
Required Qualifications
- PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
- Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines. Failure to obtain required Pharmacist licensure within 120 days of graduation will result in separation of employment.
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
