Job Summary
Graduate Pharmacy Intern role within CVS Health’s retail pharmacy teams. Responsibilities include supporting pharmacy operations to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, delivering compassionate customer service, counseling patients when appropriate under supervision, assisting with immunizations and vaccination workflows as allowed by state regulations, and contributing to a culture of patient safety and quality assurance through SOP adherence, drug utilization review, and clear communication. The program emphasizes hands-on training, a comprehensive 120-day roadmap, and increasing levels of responsibility with mentoring from pharmacists and district leaders. This position requires flexibility for scheduling, willingness to travel to stores as needed, and adherence to federal, state, and local regulations. Pay range is $28.00-$42.00 per hour for this part-time role, with benefits described during the application process.
Required Qualifications
- PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
- Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
