Job Summary
Graduate Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health will apply didactic learning from pharmacy school to real-world practice within CVS Retail stores. You will follow SOPs to support pharmacy operations, assist with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, provide empathetic patient care, offer immunizations and related services where allowed, counsel patients when appropriate, and progressively take on greater accountability in collaboration with licensed pharmacists and district leadership. You will learn to navigate patient safety protocols, perform tasks such as order processing, immunization-related duties, and support to improve store and regional operations while developing clinically and technically. You may travel between stores in the market to meet business needs and pursue required licensure and certification.
Required Qualifications
- PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
- Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Essential Functions: Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends; Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe; etc.
