Job Summary
Graduate Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health actively participates in a comprehensive training roadmap over 120 days, applying didactic learning to real-world pharmacy operations. Responsibilities include assisting the pharmacy team with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, contributing to patient safety and quality assurance activities (e.g., drug utilization review and SOP compliance), and delivering empathetic customer service across pick-up, drive-thru, and phone interactions. The role involves learning to counsel patients, support immunization services (where permissible and with required training), and collaborating with leaders to expand clinical and technical knowledge. Opportunities to travel between market stores for coverage may be required, and interns will engage in developmental activities to prepare for greater responsibility within pharmacy operations.
Required Qualifications
- PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
- Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
