Job Summary
Graduate Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health within Retail locations: apply didactic learning to real-world pharmacy practice, complete a comprehensive 120-day training roadmap, support pharmacy teams to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, learn patient safety, DUR, and clinical standards, assist with immunizations where permissible, counsel patients, and potentially travel to stores across the market to meet business needs while developing knowledge and skills for increasing responsibility.
Required Qualifications
- PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
- Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
- Essential Functions: customer service and teamwork skills; effective communication; mathematical reasoning; attention and focus; ability to pivot between tasks; compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements
