Job Summary
Graduate Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health (NC - Holly Springs) who will apply pharmacy didactic learning to real-world practice, contribute to safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, and support patient experiences through empathetic service, immunizations, and adherence to SOPs. The role involves rotating through pharmacy workflows (production, pick-up, drive-thru, drop-off), learning under a preceptor and district leadership, and increasing responsibility over a 120-day training roadmap. Responsibilities include counseling when appropriate, taking telephonic prescriptions when allowed, assisting with inventory and cycle counts, and supporting immunization services where permissible. Requires preparing for pharmacist licensure and holding or pursuing intern/technician licensure; flexibility with scheduling, and strong communication and mathematical reasoning skills.
Required Qualifications
- PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
- Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
