Job Summary
Graduate Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health in Cincinnati, OH. You will apply your pharmacy school learning to real-world practice under a preceptor, completing a comprehensive 120-day training roadmap to prepare for a Pharmacist role. Responsibilities include assisting the pharmacy team to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, following SOPs, engaging in patient counseling and empathetic service, supporting immunization services where allowed, handling telephonic prescriptions, conducting basic inventory activities, and contributing to a safe, inclusive, and high-performing team environment. The role emphasizes patient safety, quality assurance, drug utilization review, corresponding responsibility, red flag detection, and ongoing professional development toward increasing responsibility within store, district, and regional operations. Preferred qualifications include related work experience in pharmacy or customer service and capability to become immunization certified, with flexibility to travel across markets as needed. The position offers a part-time schedule with benefits eligibility and a pay range of $19.75-$42.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- PharmD graduate from a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
- Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
