Job Summary
GPM Automation Operator I operates fully automatic assembly cells, ensuring machine hoppers are filled with molded and purchased components, performs quality testing of produced products on shift, troubleshoots minor equipment issues, monitors and inspects material quality, and packs items for shipping and distribution. Role emphasizes basic troubleshooting to maximize productivity, adherence to safety procedures, understanding molded components and finished assemblies, and quality inspection of components for defects or contamination. Requires on-site work at the Wooster, OH campus with travel between campus locations in Northeast Ohio as needed. Minimum education is a high school diploma or GED with manufacturing experience preferred. Starting pay is $19.08/hour with bonus eligibility; comprehensive benefits available.
