Job Summary
Monitor traffic flow through screening checkpoints and request personnel to use metal detectors and handheld scanners for secure area access. Maintain safety and protection of people and property by observing activities, reporting incidents, and following breach protocols. Utilize walkthrough metal detectors and scanners while adhering to prescribed work practices and workplace safety policies. Maintain professional composure when interacting with authorities, clients, and staff under high-pressure conditions. Perform duties with honesty, ethics, and adherence to company policies, including background checks and drug testing.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Italian citizenship or citizenship of an EU member country
- No criminal convictions or pending legal proceedings
- Valid driving license
- Valid Armed Security Guard license (or strong motivation to obtain it)
- Excellent knowledge of English (reading, writing, speaking)
- Excellent knowledge of computer tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Reliable communication devices
- Possession of a personal means of transportation
- Availability to participate in the company's pre-employment screening process, including drug testing and background checks
- Ability to meet and maintain all applicable state, provincial, and municipal licensing requirements for security officers
- Knowledge of basic security and fire control procedures
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to observe situations and make decisions
- Ability to meet and maintain required skills, certifications, or authorizations for assigned accounts
- Knowledge of security operations and procedures
- Ability to learn to operate a variety of security and protective devices
- Ability to follow and maintain scheduled assignments
- Ability to maintain professional composure in unusual situations
- Physical and mental ability to perform all essential functions effectively
