Job Summary
Assist chairside during restorative and surgical procedures, supporting crowns, whitening, nightguards, and suture removal while handling room setup, breakdown, and instrument management. Maintain sterilization and infection control compliance, take dental radiographs, and support charting and periodontal record updates. Provide patient education and post-op instructions, coordinate lab cases to keep workflow moving, and ensure treatment flow remains clean and organized. This steady, hands-on role requires an experienced RDA with active Texas certification and strong chairside skills in a busy, doctor-led practice that values communication and accountability.
Required Qualifications
- Active Texas RDA certification
- 2 to 5+ years of dental assisting experience
- Strong chairside and clinical flow skills
- Confident taking dental X-rays
- Solid grasp of sterilization protocols
- Reliable, team-oriented, and patient-focused
- Comfortable in a busy clinical environment
