GP Liaison Officer

Job Summary
Develop and implement strategies to grow referrals through GP visits and networking to identify new business opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with GP practices, Practice Managers, Allied Health professionals, and Visiting Medical Officers in the catchment area. Maintain a detailed CRM database, provide reporting on referral trends, and promote hospital services through targeted communications. Collaborate with leadership to support strategic growth initiatives and facilitate strong referrer relationships. This role is highly visible for someone who turns connections into meaningful growth and better patient outcomes. You will work autonomously, manage competing priorities, and drive measurable outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in business development, healthcare liaison, stakeholder engagement or a similar relationship focused role
- Demonstrated success building and maintaining professional relationships across stakeholder groups
- Strong communication, networking, and influencing skills with the ability to engage confidently with medical professionals
- Experience coordinating events, education sessions, or stakeholder engagement activities
- Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities, and drive measurable outcomes
- Strong organisational skills with experience using CRM systems, databases, and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to interpret data and identify strategic growth opportunities
- Current driver's licence
- Willingness to travel throughout the catchment area
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in private healthcare or the medical industry
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, or Health
- Understanding of GP referral pathways and specialist engagement
- Experience with Power BI, CRM reporting, or data analytics tools
