Job Summary
Food Server at Governors Grill providing fast, friendly service and creating a welcoming dining experience. Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking and delivering orders, maintaining knowledge of menu items and specials, communicating with kitchen staff to ensure accurate orders, processing guest payments, and ensuring hospitality, cleanliness, and professionalism across service areas. Requires strong customer service, ability to multitask in a high-volume environment, professional demeanor, and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds; includes working nights, weekends, and holidays; bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required; certifications in food handling and alcohol awareness are required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Food Handler's Certification
- Valid Alcohol Awareness Certification
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Previous food serving experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service and guest relations skills
