Job Summary
On-site Government Travel Consultant supporting military travel from Randolph AFB (TX) and Virginia Beach locations. Responsibilities include securing air, car, and hotel accommodations for contracted government agencies, ensuring all bookings comply with government travel regulations, maintaining travel queues, initiating cancellations or changes as needed, and providing timely updates to client agencies. Duties also cover researching travel industry changes to advise clients with up-to-date information, and delivering professional, high-quality customer service with accurate travel arrangements and recommendations for value-added services. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, travel-industry experience, proficiency with WorldSpan and SABRE GDS, strong written and verbal communication, and solid customer-service skills.
