Job Summary
Senior First-Line Manager for Boeing's Government Training Engineering (GTE) Innovation & Workforce Team. Leads the team, drives workforce planning and capability development, refines technology roadmaps, prioritizes investments, and aligns people, funding, and technology with strategic objectives. Partners with engineering SMEs and program stakeholders on roadmap refinements, licensing and IP strategies, and external partnerships. Represents the team across the organization and with external partners, delivering pragmatic solutions in ambiguous environments while maintaining operational feasibility. Requires leadership experience, strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, and the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance. This is a 100% onsite role located in Hazelwood, MO; relocation is offered based on eligibility. Must be a U.S. citizen eligible for Secret clearance; prior DoD/defense experience and cross-functional leadership are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large-scale cross-functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR completion of Boeing internal course 'Exploring Leadership'
- Experience in business strategy and/or defense analysis and/or aviation technology-related work
- Experience with workforce planning, management, and hiring practices
- Experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives
- Experience delivering presentations to senior leaders
Additional Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship required for security clearance
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Clearance post-start (interim/Final)
- Export control compliance: U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62
