Job Summary
Senior-level Government Technology Solutions Advisor responsible for acting as a strategic technical advisor to UK Government and Defence accounts. Serve as the primary technical architect behind digital transformation for critical national infrastructure, bridging policy and multi-domain technology execution. 15+ years of senior/executive leadership in networking, security, cloud, and collaboration. Lead strategic bids, provide authoritative thought leadership, and orchestrate cross-functional delivery with engineering, sales, and services teams. Engage C-suite stakeholders (CTO/CIO) to align Cisco’s innovation pipeline with national objectives, shaping roadmaps, and ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable solutions. Education background in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration; willing to undergo public sector background checks.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of progressive experience in senior/executive technical leadership
- Domain expertise in Networking, Security, Cloud, Collaboration
- Executive-level advisory experience with CTO/CIO stakeholders
- Experience navigating UK Public Sector and Defence sectors with compliance considerations
- Education: degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration (or equivalent)
- Willingness to undergo public sector background checks
- Strong cross-functional leadership and architectural design skills
- Proven track record of translating high-level business objectives into technical requirements
