Job Summary
Role involves coordinating with Rakuten Mobile sales teams to negotiate with ministries and agencies to structure and execute government-funded projects; responsibilities include coordinating for project formation, preparing proposals to secure financial support, managing projects with secured funds, reporting status to ministries/agencies, and preparing post-project reports. Requires 5+ years in related government work or government-related experience, strong negotiation/coordination skills with internal/external stakeholders, and English/Japanese proficiency. Preferred: experience applying for government grants, financing from government-financed institutions, project management certifications (PMP), global business experience, and IT/telecom industry experience. Working location is Tokyo HQ with possible reassignment to other sites; standard hours with potential flex time and annual salary discussions.
