Job Summary
Government Sales Representative (AZ / NM / NV Region) Company: Southern Tire Mart Territory: Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada Position Type: Full-Time Key Responsibilities Identify and pursue government sales opportunities across assigned region Manage the RFP/bid process from start to finish Build relationships with: Fleet managers Procurement officers Municipal and state agencies Develop pricing strategies aligned with company goals Coordinate with local stores to ensure: Service expectations are clearly communicated Contracts are executed effectively Maintain and grow existing government accounts Track contract performance and identify expansion opportunities Qualifications 3+ years of outside sales experience (B2G or fleet sales preferred) Experience with government bidding and contract processes strongly preferred Strong understanding of fleet operations (commercial tire experience is a plus) Ability to travel throughout AZ, NM, and NV Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Self-driven with a strategic sales mindset What Success Looks Like Winning multi-location or statewide government contracts Strong alignment between sales commitments and store execution Long-term, repeatable government business across the region Why Join Southern Tire Mart Industry leader in commercial tire sales and service Established infrastructure to support government accounts Strong local store network to fulfill contracts High-growth opportunity within a specialized sales channel
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of outside sales experience (B2G or fleet sales preferred)
- Experience with government bidding and contract processes strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of fleet operations (commercial tire experience is a plus)
- Ability to travel throughout AZ, NM, and NV
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-driven with a strategic sales mindset
