Job Summary
Develop and execute comprehensive market access strategies by integrating pricing, reimbursement, health technology assessment, and health economic modeling activities. Formulate and implement thorough approaches to the payer value proposition from early development through post-loss of exclusity. Lead or co-lead complex projects and cross-functional teams to establish market access priorities while conducting strategic consumer insights studies. Engage with external stakeholders to communicate therapeutic area value and collaborate with medical and health outcomes teams to optimize product reimbursement plans.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS with 6+ years of experience, or MBA/MS with 5+ years of experience, or PhD/JD with 1+ years of experience, or MD/DVM with 0+ years of experience
- Experience leading projects, managing workstreams and small teams of cross-functional colleagues with varying backgrounds and skillsets
- Demonstrated experience influencing key stakeholders without direct authority
- Understanding of marketing and financial working methods and measures and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated strategic thinking skills and ability to develop recommendations for decision-making or action
- Proven ability to partner and work collaboratively in a highly matrix environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Master's degree combined with relevant pharmaceutical industry experience
- Experience in health economics and outcomes research
- Expertise in pricing and reimbursement strategies
- Knowledge of health technology assessment processes
- Experience developing and implementing market access strategies
- Experience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, to support problem solving and enhance productivity
- Demonstrated curiosity for exploring how these tools can improve outcomes and understanding of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use
