Job Summary

Execute federal government relations and political engagement strategies by conducting policy research, developing executive briefing materials, and coordinating high-profile stakeholder engagements. Lead project planning for congressional hearings, advocacy campaigns, and thought leadership forums while managing logistics for fundraisers and facility visits. Support the Political Action Committee through fundraising, contribution processing, and compliance reporting, ensuring adherence to FEC regulations and lobbying disclosure requirements. Partner with Legal, Ethics, and Finance teams to mitigate compliance risks and maintain project tracking systems. Collaborate with internal business leaders, trade associations, and external vendors to enhance the company's visibility and influence among policymakers.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in government relations, political engagement, public policy, political compliance, or congressional affairs
  • Experience with managing complex projects from planning through execution while balancing multiple competing priorities
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel
  • Knowledge of federal election law, FEC regulations, lobbying disclosure requirements, corporate political activity, and PAC governance
  • Ability to display exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment while handling confidential and politically sensitive information
  • Ability to build productive relationships across business functions and with external stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with administering a corporate Political Action Committee (PAC)
  • Experience with federal election law, FEC regulations, lobbying compliance and corporate PAC governance
  • Experience with supporting executive leaders and preparing briefing materials
  • Knowledge of government relations tracking platforms and political intelligence tools
  • Possession of excellent organizational skills
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a clear and persuasive style
