Government Regional Sales Manager

Job Summary
Manage government vertical accounts by building strategic relationships with FED and SLED end users, distributors, and sales teams while driving conversions and sell-through in the assigned region. Own the full sales cycle, including forecasting, promotional planning, and negotiating annual customer agreements, while aligning solutions to shorten the sales cycle and meet monthly and quarterly growth targets. Support field teams through product training seminars, event marketing, and targeted national account initiatives to drive market share gains. This role requires 60% travel and is based in Seattle, WA or Jacksonville, FL. Candidates must have 5+ years of sales experience in the construction, industrial, and government verticals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing or related fields
- 5+ years' experience in Sales or Marketing focused in the Construction and Industrial channels, and government vertical
- Prior Sales management and key account experience
- Excellent platform skills; feel comfortable presenting and speaking in front of large audiences
- Proficient in Microsoft applications; Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook
- Strong ability to be flexible and adapt to change in business practices, market changes, etc
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, verbal and written communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- Proven leader and team player with solid track record of success – ability to drive sales growth
- Demonstrated time management skills, ability to set priorities is required
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally at multiple levels within the business unit (e.g., Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, etc)
- Willingness to travel (60%)
