Job Summary
Act as the day-to-day internal point of contact for program management, guiding teams on federal and state funding rules while reviewing grant applications, agreements, and regulations to align business objectives with program requirements. Conduct account and project billing reviews, prepare reimbursement filings with necessary documentation, and respond to government requests. Track program deadlines, lead documentation gathering for federal audits, and oversee compliance objectives for broadband network expansion including HUBB reporting. Analyze data to generate high-level Excel reports and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders. Maintain knowledge of service offerings and targeted customers related to ETC and ILEC areas. This role requires 4-6 years of experience in telecommunications, specifically with USF program compliance and broadband grants, and is open to remote work in Eastern or Central Time zones.
Required Qualifications
- 4-6 years experience
- Associate's Degree
- Experience working across functional groups (legal, accounting, engineering, construction, etc.)
- Experience working with legal documents and reading laws and regulations
- Experience preparing and presenting executive summaries for approval
- Experience in setting and meeting schedules/deadlines
- Experience working in the telecommunications industry
- Experience managing E-Rate compliance for a service provider
- Eastern Time or Central Time
Desired Qualifications
- experience in federal USF program compliance within the telecommunications industry (High Cost, E-Rate, RHC, Lifeline)
- experience with broadband grant programs and requirements
- Familiarity with broadband location and availability reporting to the federal government a plus (for example, HUBB reporting)
- Ability to analyze data and provide high level excel reports, including but not limited to, pivot tables, lookups, etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
