Collaborate with finance, operations, and program management teams to assess business needs, define project scopes, and identify process gaps. Analyze complex data sets to provide insights on project progress, cost-benefit analyses, and resource allocation, then prepare detailed reports for senior leadership. Oversee contract documentation and monitor deliverables, deadlines, and budgets to ensure compliance with military standards and regulations like FAR/DFARS. Assess current workflows to recommend improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce costs while proposing mitigation strategies for potential risks. This role supports U.S. Federal Government clients in McLean, VA, requiring a security clearance and 6+ years of defense contracting experience. Required Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain a Government security clearance that requires U.S. citizenship
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Management or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience
  • 6+ years of experience as a Contracts or Business Analyst, with a focus on defense or military contracting
  • Proven track record working with government contracts and familiarity with FAR, DFARS, or other relevant regulations
  • Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI) and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira)
  • Understanding of financial modeling, cost-benefit analysis, and process mapping
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Valid work authorization that does not now and/or will not in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the US

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) or contract management systems
  • Contracts related certifications
