Job Summary
Heavy Equipment and Material Handling Equipment (HE/MHE) Instructor responsible for both theoretical and practical training on safe and efficient operation and maintenance of HE/MHE, including classroom instruction, hands-on demonstrations, administration of assessments, and guidance to students. Strong focus on operation principles, safety regulations, maintenance procedures, pre-operation checks, electrical/hydraulic troubleshooting, and utilization of diagnostic equipment; travel to various training settings may be required; includes customer service orientation and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Must be able to obtain US Military Instructor certifications and travel internationally as needed.
Required Qualifications
- An understanding of HE/MHE components, systems, and operational controls
- Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting common electrical and hydraulic problems
- Ability to obtain appropriate US Military Instructor certifications
