Government Contracts Sales Director

Job Summary
Lead government sales initiatives for AlphaHire in construction workforce intelligence; responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing government contracts across federal, state, and local levels; develop sales strategies, build relationships with contracting officers and key decision-makers, manage the sales pipeline and forecast government sales revenue, lead proposal development ensuring compliance with government regulations and requirements, collaborate with internal stakeholders to tailor offerings to government customer needs, monitor government market trends and competitor activities to adapt sales strategies, and drive new business opportunities and partnerships within the government sector.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience in government contracts sales or business development
- Proven success in securing government contracts
- Strong knowledge of government procurement processes, including RFPs, bids, and contracting regulations
- Familiarity with government contracting platforms such as SAM.gov and GovWin
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and lead initiatives in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, or related field preferred
