Job Summary

Advise clients on all aspects of government contracting, including contract formation, negotiation, performance, and termination. Assist with navigating government procurement processes, including bid protests, requests for proposals, and contract disputes. Provide legal counsel on compliance matters related to federal and state laws, including FAR, DFARS, certifications, and reporting requirements. Support clients on state and local government contracting, including bid preparation, proposal submission, and contract administration. Full-time employment with an estimated total compensation of $104,500–$325,000 per year. Requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience practicing law with a focus on government contracts.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience practicing law
  • Focus on government contracts
  • Experience in an IT corporation
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. federal acquisition regulations (FAR)
  • Strong knowledge of agency-specific regulations
  • Strong knowledge of laws governing government contracts
  • Strong knowledge of state and local procurement laws
  • Strong knowledge of state and local procurement regulations
  • Strong knowledge of state and local procurement procedures
  • Experience with public sector contracting
  • Experience with regulatory compliance
  • Actively licensed in a U.S. state
  • In good standing in a U.S. state
  • Possessing the necessary legal authorization to work
