Job Summary
Government Business Capture Manager role focused on identifying, qualifying, shaping, and pursuing strategic opportunities across DoD, IC, Civil Space, and federal markets. Responsibilities include building relationships with government stakeholders and prime contractors, shaping opportunities before solicitation, aligning technical capabilities with customer missions, developing capture and account plans, and coordinating cross-functional teams to drive pipeline growth and contract awards. Travel up to 50% to support engagements, conferences, and activities. Requires a Bachelor's degree and 3–7 years of related experience, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to pursue or obtain a security clearance. Open to candidates in the Space Coast, FL or Washington, DC areas.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; technical, engineering, aerospace, business, or related discipline preferred.
- 3–7 years of experience in business development, capture management, government programs, defense contracting, military operations, aerospace, or related technical environments.
- Experience supporting or pursuing Federal Government, DoD, IC, or Civil Space opportunities preferred.
- Familiarity with the federal acquisition lifecycle, including FAR-based procurements, OTAs, IDIQs, GWACs, SBIR/STTR, or related contracting mechanisms.
- Experience supporting technical solutions, mission systems, aerospace platforms, ISR, communications, autonomy, or advanced technology programs is preferred.
- Prior military, government, intelligence community, or aerospace industry experience is highly desired.
- Willingness to travel in support of customer engagements, conferences, and strategic business activities.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain a U.S. security clearance preferred.
