Job Summary
The Government and Program Development Manager is responsible for developing and underwriting government pricing, creating cost models, and preparing cost reports. This role involves researching cost comparisons, providing technical support to Client Services, maintaining Master Price Lists, and writing SOP manuals. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree related to aviation, extensive technical experience in the aviation industry, and skills in cost analysis and pricing models. Proficiency in Excel is necessary, along with strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (Aviation Related)
- 5 years aviation technical experience
- Knowledge of aviation industry
- Knowledge of Government Pricing
- Working knowledge of aircraft inspection requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with maintenance planning and forecasting is a plus
- Maintenance Controller experience a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills to deal with the public and aviation industry professionals
- Ability to read and write technical manuals a plus
- Clear understanding of relevant technical skills
- Proficient in Excel
