Job Summary
The Office of Information Technology Services (OITS) seeks a detail-oriented Purchasing/Procurement Analyst to procure commodities and services and provide daily purchasing support within the Department of Children and Families (DCF) at the Tallahassee HQ. Responsibilities include reviewing and processing purchases, coordinating activities to meet business needs, ensuring compliance with policies and laws, processing receipts for invoicing, and guiding internal customers on procurement and contracting matters, including creating scopes of work and specifications. Qualifications emphasize MFMP/Ariba experience, MS Office proficiency, and knowledge of state contracting policies. Preference given to IT procurement experience and FCCM certification. Requires Level II background screening. Veterans’ Preference available; reasonable accommodations procedures noted.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two (2) years of experience in developing, reviewing, and issuing purchase orders utilizing MFMP in Ariba on Demand (AOD)
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Preference for IT Procurement experience
- Florida Certified Contract Manager (FCCM)
- Advanced knowledge of creating excel spreadsheets
- Experience with Smartsheet
