Job Summary
GOVERNMENT ANALYST I serves as a customer advocate in the Bureau of Licensing, providing guidance and assistance to insurance companies, insurance agencies, and applicants. Responsibilities include reviewing licensing, appointments, and education issues; evaluating licensing concerns; analyzing data to develop recommendations; organizing data for reports and written materials; supporting process improvements and handling inquiries through the licensing case management system; and participating in hearings when needed. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and experience with data collection/analysis and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred. The role is based in the Tallahassee office (not eligible for teleworking) at 200 East Gaines Street, Larson Building, with a non-negotiable annual salary of $44,125.20. Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Documented experience in publication and web design.
- Collecting, evaluating, and analyzing data.
- Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
