Job Summary
Lead GE Vernova’s government affairs in Australia and New Zealand, shaping federal and state government engagement strategies, building strong relationships with policymakers, industry stakeholders, and diplomatic partners, and providing strategic insights on policy, regulatory, and geopolitical developments. Support market access, government-facing bids, and advocacy efforts across Australia and New Zealand, coordinating with business leaders and corporate functions to inform macroeconomic and regulatory trends and to tailor bids and initiatives that support growth. Engage with US diplomatic personnel in Australia, monitor policy landscapes, and collaborate with GE Vernova businesses to execute international market intelligence and government engagement plans. Travel to key locations in Australia and New Zealand as needed and contribute to global government affairs strategies through cross-functional collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferably or equivalent knowledge or experience in economics, law, political science, or public policy; advanced degree is a plus
