Job Summary
Governance Risk & Compliance Analyst role focused on strengthening Polsinelli’s information governance and data governance programs. Responsibilities include reviewing client security questionnaires and Outside Counsel Guidelines, supporting a multi-year roadmap to enhance governance capabilities, advising on information security risks to business units and technology leaders, collecting performance indicators and producing actionable leadership communications, maintaining up-to-date governance best practices and regulatory knowledge, and coordinating multiple workstreams with stakeholders. Requires collaboration across teams, proactive risk assessment, and the ability to work within a flexible, fully remote-enabled environment. Knowledge of information security frameworks (COSO, COBIT, ISO, NIST, ITIL) and experience with risk assessments and audits are key, as is the ability to develop and communicate policy adaptations and practical governance procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, or a related discipline OR equivalent work experience
- At least 3 years of experience in information security, with a specific focus on information and data governance
- Strong knowledge of risk and controls, including standards and frameworks such as COSO, COBIT, ISO, NIST, and ITIL
- Ability to thrive in an environment of change and manage multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously
- Practical experience with information security risk assessments and information security audits
