Governance, Compliance & Quality Specialist / Lead

Job Summary
Develop and maintain company policies, SOPs, and governance documentation while ensuring consistent implementation across all departments. Conduct regular internal audits, coordinate certification efforts for ISO 9001, 27001, and 27701, and monitor compliance with applicable regulations and customer requirements. Identify governance risks, recommend improvements, and lead the implementation of data protection and privacy programs, potentially serving as the appointed Data Protection Officer. Collaborate with Legal, HR, Operations, Product, and Engineering to drive continuous improvement and strengthen operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Law, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Governance, Compliance, Quality Management, Internal Audit, Privacy, Information Security, Risk Management, or a related field
- Good understanding of governance, compliance, internal controls, and management systems
- Familiarity with ISO standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 27001
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Able to work independently and collaborate across multiple departments
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in a technology or product-driven company
- Experience collaborating with Product and Engineering teams
- Experience leading or supporting ISO certification projects
- Knowledge of data protection and privacy regulations
- Experience as a Data Protection Officer (DPO) or Privacy Officer
- Professional certifications related to ISO, compliance, privacy, internal audit, or information security
