Job Summary
Manage daily operations of the Weston market by selecting team members, developing staff, and adhering to company standards to increase sales while minimizing food, beverage, and labor costs. Conduct weekly and monthly inventories, update beverage prices, and enforce sanitary practices for food handling and kitchen maintenance. Delegate supply ordering tasks, maintain accurate staffing plans, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws. Respond to guest complaints, investigate food quality issues, and complete accident reports promptly. Assist in menu planning, develop team members through ongoing feedback, and fill in for shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Available for work outside the customary schedule to ensure efficient operations and positive guest service.
Required Qualifications
- Exceptional customer service and managerial skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
- At least two years of experience in retail administration preferably in market management, with increasing levels of responsibility required
- Prolonged periods of standing
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time
- Available for work assignments outside of Manager's customary work schedule. This may include evenings, catering events, weekends, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration preferred
