Job Summary

Google Workspace Customer Engineer at Premier Cloud drives ongoing client engagement across the sales process, provides technical pre-sales support, delivers persuasive briefs, live demonstrations, and architectural reviews, and collaborates with sales, PM, change management, and delivery teams to define project requirements and address implementation challenges. The role emphasizes building strategic relationships with client technical leadership and partner teams (notably Google sales and professional services) to promote Google Workspace adoption and optimize outcomes for SMB and enterprise clients.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in a customer-facing technical sales engineering role
  • Associate Google Workspace Administrator certification to be completed within the first 45 days of employment
  • Google Cloud Digital Leader certification to be completed within the first 6 months of employment
  • Google Generative AI Leader certification to be completed within the first 1 year of employment
  • Generative AI (Gemini Enterprise) expertise
  • Governance & Security expertise for cloud environments
  • Migration from Third-Party Platforms to Google Workspace architecture
  • Google-to-Google Data Transfer proficiency
  • Microsoft 365 Architecture Expertise including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Entra ID, and Purview
  • RFP/RFI Management experience
  • Market Expansion & Strategic Growth collaboration with Success/Marketing/Sales teams
  • Executive Presence with CIOs/IT directors
  • Complex Problem Solving for multiple customer environments
  • Narrative & Interpretation skills to communicate technical details clearly
  • Interpersonal Synergy across internal and external teams
  • Cloud Ecosystem Proficiency including AODocs, Okta, JumpCloud, M.io, Omnissa, CloudFuze, CloudM
  • Soft skills: exceptional written and verbal communication; drafting SOWs; developing presales materials; workshop facilitation
  • Optional scripting competency in Google Apps Script/JavaScript/Python for solution support
