Job Summary
LightFeather is seeking a Cloud Engineer with expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions, focusing on automation, security, and compliance within high-security government environments.
Required Qualifications
- Willing to obtain a security clearance
- 4+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with at least 2 years on GCP
- Hands-on experience with GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, VPC, IAM, GKE, and BigQuery
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Deployment Manager
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Cloud Build
- Solid understanding of Linux systems, networking, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
Desired Qualifications
- GCP Professional Cloud Architect or DevOps Engineer certification
- Experience supporting federal government contracts and understanding of ATO processes
- Familiarity with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus
- Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go
