Job Summary
Monitor team deployment as schedule dictates and conduct shift walk-throughs to oversee opening, transition, and closing procedures. Engage with all guests to ensure service and enjoyment standards are delivered, while performing food preparation, clearing tables, and serving food and drinks when necessary. Maintain cleanliness standards throughout the restaurant and monitor compliance with health department regulations regarding food preparation, temperature control, and portion sizes. Address and resolve customer concerns or feedback in a professional manner, ensuring team members follow break and meal period schedules. Train and guide new team members to set the standard for expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in a leadership role
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and efficiently
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Commitment to upholding company standards and ensuring customer satisfaction
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to speak clearly and comprehend directions in English
- Able to read English
- Able to read/speak Spanish
Desired Qualifications
- Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in the food and service industry
- Able to read/speak Spanish is extremely helpful but not mandatory
