Job Summary
Track the movement of equipment in and out of the warehouse alongside the Warehouse Management team. Supervise, coach, and develop the Goods In team to ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently. Take ownership of the Goods In area, maintaining a safe, clean, and organised environment while verifying incoming deliveries against purchase orders. Process hire and cross-hire equipment through the PO system, inspect returned gear for completeness, and monitor stock accuracy by investigating discrepancies. Coordinate equipment returns to suppliers and customers, manage personal deliveries, and lead shifts including weekends and evenings. Continuously improve warehouse processes and report on key operational KPIs such as scan compliance and turnaround times.
Required Qualifications
- Highly organised, with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to plan daily tasks, prioritising where necessary
- Good people skills, with experience supervising, motivating and developing a team
- Ability to multitask with a positive, 'can do' attitude
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Process driven, with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure
- Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting
- Full UK Driving Licence ideal, but not essential
- Previous experience in Warehouse Operations
- Previous supervisory or team leader experience preferred
- Experience with broadcast equipment ideal, but not essential
- Able to show initiative and work independently
- Basic knowledge of Health & Safety
- Confident using basic IT systems and warehouse scanning systems
