Job Summary
Assist with the pick-up of donations at donor locations and communicate with the driver while operating the vehicle. Responsibilities include using equipment like hand trucks and dollies, accepting donations respectfully, performing end-of-day functions such as cleaning the truck and completing paperwork, and ensuring compliance with legal documentation requirements. Candidates must be able to lift 50 pounds consistently, maintain good communication skills, and have the stamina for physical tasks. Open availability for varying schedules is required.
Required Qualifications
- Sufficiently mobile to perform job duties
- Ability to bend and twist
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance
- Effective communication skills
- Good physical stamina
- Open availability to work varying schedule one hour prior to department opening and one hour after department closing 7 days a week
- Ability to work in the entire facility
