Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive, single-point-of-contact support for individuals and families, providing life and work coaching, personal counseling, and advocacy with community resources to achieve self-sufficiency. Establish customer-centered relationships using powerful questioning to develop Individual Development Plans and action steps, while maintaining regular contact with internal providers, agencies, and strategic partners to ensure seamless service delivery. Perform needs assessments to link team members with appropriate resources, assist with budgeting and financial referrals, and advocate for timely delivery of support. Maintain strict confidentiality in all case notes and data entry, serve as a liaison across departments, and attend required training and meetings. This safety-sensitive role requires occasional after-hours work, weekend availability, daily travel to multiple locations, and a valid driver's license.

- Proficient in the basic and personal facilitating process
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience with business systems, technology, procedures
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel spreadsheets
- High levels of self-awareness, maturity and self-control
- Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills including interacting with senior leaders
- Excellent communication, decision making and problem-solving skills
- Ability to analyze complex situations and make recommendations
- Excellent conflict resolution and negotiation skills
- Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality regarding employee information
- Knowledge of the characteristics, needs, and cultural, educational, socioeconomic and linguistic diversity associated with team members served within service delivery area
- Knowledge of community resources including faith, social, fraternal, educational, business, and governmental entities within the assigned service delivery area
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team within the context of team-based organization
- Knowledge and skill in life coaching, career and personal counseling, budgeting, negotiation, conflict resolution, and problem-solving strategies, techniques, and best practices
- Knowledge and skill in computer applications including electronic mail, word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and other applications as needed to complete own workload as well as training others
- Possess an attitude of personal and professional continuous improvement
- Must be able to work occasional after-hours and weekends
- This position will require travel to multiple locations on a daily basis
- This position is safety-sensitive and is subject to random drug screening
- This role may require access to facility keys and alarm systems
- Must possess a valid driver's license, appropriate insurance coverage and a privately owned reliable means of transportation to travel throughout Goodwill territory to visit stores and locations as necessary
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Professional certification
- Coaching Certification from an accredited program
- Five years of related experience preferably within a community-based setting performing community organization, community resource coordination, resource brokering, career and personal counseling and courses in Theories in Counseling, Human Development, and/or Ethical Practices in Counseling
- Bi-lingual in Spanish and/or English
- Two plus years of Case Management experience
