Job Summary
Hybrid seasonal role at Farmington Country Club combining a 10th Tee Snack & Beverage Bar Attendant position and a Poolside Grill Bartender. Serve golfers and pool guests with fast, friendly hospitality across two venues; responsibilities include preparing/serving beverages and food, crafting cocktails, handling transactions, maintaining clean service areas, opening/closing duties, ensuring safety and compliance with Virginia ABC, and providing exceptional member experiences. Candidates should be comfortable in a high-volume environment, able to upsell beverages, maintain knowledge of menu items and allergens, greet members by name, verify member accounts, manage inventory, and perform basic Excel/Office tasks. Prior bartending is preferred but not required; serving experience may be required if no bartending background. Requires ability to stand long hours, lift up to 50 pounds, and availability for a minimum of 4 days/week, including major holidays during peak season.
Required Qualifications
- Must be eighteen (21) years of age or older
- Must be able to lift and carry up to fifty (50) pounds
- Must be able to stand for up to seven (7) consecutive hours
- Must be available minimum of 4 days a week
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications
- Previous bartending experience preferred but not required; if no bartending experience, serving experience is required
- Must be able to work all 3 holidays (Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day) during peak pool season
