Job Summary
Manage the overall retail operation of the Golf Pro Shop by working with the Area Retail Manager on buying strategies and assisting with annual budget development. Compile sales forecasts, receive and price merchandise in the POS system, and process invoices while maintaining effective seasonal stock levels. Promote merchandise through trunk shows and demo days, manage the special-order program, and conduct monthly physical inventory. Ensure stockroom organization, resolve customer and vendor issues, and develop ongoing product training programs. Maintain vendor lists, assist in procurement for tournaments and uniforms, and support daily shop operations alongside tennis shop appearance and selection duties.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate from college, technical school or accredited facility
- Three to five years related experience in golf retail merchandising
- Able to manage all aspects of Golf Pro Shop and retail merchandising program
- Jonas POS / Inventory, Golf Genius Golf Shop Manager
- Excel / Microsoft Outlook / Canva or similar
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Specialize in customer service and interpersonal skills
- Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping and pulling
- Continuous standing and walking
